New camera

I buy a new compact digital camera for my holiday to the Philippines.

Having tried once before (my trip to Chicago) to get a digital camera and ending up with a camera phone, I begin by trying to upgrade my phone, only to realise that a trip of a lifetime to the Philippines really deserves a proper camera.

The Nikon Coolpix S210 is a pocket digital camera with 8 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. It's also one of the thinnest digital cameras on the market at just 18mm wide.

I also snap up a couple 4GB SDHC memory cards for the trip. Lets hope we get some cool sunsets...
