New job in Goring-on-Thames

I start a new job as a senior web developer for a software asset management company.

Following a recommendation from Hamish, an old work friend, I go for an interview on Friday, accept their offer the following Monday and start work Wednesday.

The firm provides software asset management services to medium to large scale businesses.

The role is to develop and support a new Internet based application, via the company website. The application is to be brandable and multi-lingual for global clients. Hardware and software information is to be uploaded into the database via CSV files or keyed into the system by users. Technologies include N-Tier architecture, web standards and languages including XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.Net, VB.Net and SQL Server.
