New laptop

I buy a new laptop to develop software, watch television, movies and music.

I finally take the plunge and get a new laptop to replace the one that was stolen from my bedroom as I slept nearly a year ago.

The new laptop is a Dell Studio 1535, with a 15.4" screen, Dual Core T2390 Processor 1.86GHz, upgraded to 3GB RAM, running Windows Vista™ Home Premium, which has Windows Media Center.

I waste no time in setting-up my new system, and transferring all my files from my old desktop computer, so that I can set about rebuilding my websites. It's nice not being chained to the desk.
