I join Nick and Karen as they get their marriage blessed in Bournemouth.
Nick and Karen arrange a church blessing in Nick's home town of Bournemouth for his friends and family who couldn't make it to Chicago for the official wedding.
This stopover becomes part of Nick and Karen's European honeymoon tour. A few of members of Karen's family also join us from America to sample our culture and hospitality.
The day begins with a traditional church blessing in a small country church on the edge of the New Forest, followed by the obligatory photo call outside. We then make our way through the New forest where we see ponies crossing the village streets, to a traditional tea house where we stop for afternoon tea and cake. A few of us later sneak off to a nearby pub to watch the FA Cup final.
The evening festivities continue with a relaxing river boat cruise taking in the sights and sounds of the river banks as we travel down and back up the river Stour. As the sun begins to set we step off the boat and straight into a glass building on the river bank where an evening buffet is laid on for us accompanied by a rather smooth red or white wine.
